Thank you

Dear Editor:

The Moriches Bay Project would like to thank everyone who attended our 3rd annual Oyster Fling to Save the Bay. We were overwhelmed by the incredible response we received and we are so proud of what our community has accomplished together!
The attendance was above and beyond what we had hoped for, with approximately 400 tickets sold. Guests enjoyed delicious food, thanks to Buoy One Restaurant! We were happy to welcome members of the press from Hampton Magazine, Southampton Press. South Shore Tide and Jewish World. AND we were thrilled to announce that the Red Hot Chili Peppers were our biggest sponsor of the evening!
We are so very touched by the local support we received for our Oyster Fling and that we receive all year long. So many wonderful local businesses donated an array of auction items. The generosity of these local businesses strengthens the ties of our community and we are so thankful for their support.
We want to thank our very generous sponsors who helped to make this our most successful year yet! Without your help, we would not be able to continue the work we are doing. You are all our Heroes of the Bay! The evening kicked off with the Mancuso family making an extremely generous donation, which will have lasting effects on our bay.
A very special thank you to Hampton Coffee Company, Casamigos Tequila, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Twin Fork Beer Co., Hampton Cigar Company, R&B Quality Electric and our partner Proud Pour, The Oyster Wine. These companies all donated their products and their time in support of our local bays.
We must extend a warm thank you to our hosts Mr. and Mrs. Edelman for opening their home to us for two years in a row.
Lastly, this night could not have been possible without the tireless help of our Oyster Fling Committee. This hardworking group of individuals raised the bar and helped to pull off, what we hope you will agree, was a fun night for a really great cause!
Thank you so much to all our volunteers for your support!

Sincerely,
Moriches Bay Project
