Josephine never married or had any children but remained in Brooklyn until she was 95. She became a resident of Woodhaven Center of Care in Port Jefferson Station on her 95th birthday. Josephine enjoys the daily activities, bingo, Mass and making friends. Despite never having any children, her cousins, nieces and great nieces and nephews, who admire and love her tremendously, write, face time and visit her often. She celebrated her 103rd birthday at Woodhaven with family and friends. The staff at Woodhaven feels blessed to share this special day with Josephine.
