Moriches Chamber Honors Joe Maag

The parade is organized and sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of the Moriches.
The parade was kicked off by the 2017 Grand Marshal, Joe Maag. Mr. Maag is a longtime business owner and active member of dozens of community, religious and youth organizations.
Dozens of bands, community and youth groups took part in the parade as well.
On Friday, March 10, 2017 over two hundred people packed Rock Hill Country Club in Manorville to pay tribute to Mr. Maag and enjoy Irish food, music and dancing.
Following the presentations to Mr. Maag, chamber officials announced the 2017 St. Patrick’s parade Irish Princess, Kristen Renzetti.
Ms. Renzetti is a 17 year old senior at Center Moriches High School and was selected from dozens of contestants. In addition to her title and crown, she will also receive a $750.00 scholarship from the chamber.
