There were a bunch of smiling faces at Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck in Center Moriches Sunday as the Moriches Rotary Club hosted a Breakfast with Santa featuring stacks of pancakes and Mr. and Mrs. Kringle. Kids had their pictures taken with the First Family of Christmas as parents sipped coffee and drank in the holiday spirit. Proceeds will support the special camp for children with disabilities “where summer is for everyone,” according to Rotary Club President Steven Kronman. The Rotary Club of the Moriches welcomed a group of 25 children afflicted with Polio at the first official session at Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck in 1948 and for almost 70 years has been changing the dreams of handicapped children into reality. The camp has invited thousands of youngsters to enjoy summer fun at the 37-acre site on the shores of Kaler’s Pond with the joys of boating, arts & crafts, music, adaptive sports and games, swimming campfires and more.
