Ghouls and ghosts along with a host of strange characters lurked on Main Street in Center Moriches on Halloween during the annual Walk of the Goblins sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of the Moriches. “Thanks go out to the Center Moriches Fire Department, Suffolk Police and the police auxiliary for helping out,” said Chamber Director Art Gerhauser. Shop owners joined the fun giving out tons of candy and Brookhaven Supervisor Ed Romaine and Councilman Dan Panico, joined by his son Grant for the first time, were at their usual place handing out goodies in front of Bank Street Park. Nearby were Chamber Treasurer Geraldine Sapanaro and President Julie Pratt from Bridgehampton National Bank.
