The Floyd Harbor Animal Hospital is expanding and we are so happy to introduce our two new doctors, Dr. Goldstein and Dr. Hill!
Dr. Goldstein is a native Long Islander who grew up in Nassau County. She attended Syosset High School and graduated in 2008. Dr. Goldstein was awarded her Bachelor’s degree in 2012 from The University of Delaware where she had a double major in pre veterinary medicine and wildlife conservation. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University in January of 2016. She is a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Our newly minted veterinarian shares her life with Pluto, a three-year- old coconut retriever (technical name for the local dogs found on St. Kitts) and two cats Nemo and Duncan. All three family members were originally from St. Kitts where Ross University is located so Dr. Goldstein came back to New York with more than just her D.V.M. diploma. Her hobbies include hiking and music. Dr. Goldstein is an accomplished baker who loves dessert and is known for her Linzer tart cookies among family and friends.
Dr. Hill grew up on the north shore of Long Island. She graduated from Stony Brook University in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She then attended Ross University in St. Kitts, West Indies, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her clinical year at Cornell University.
Passionate about working with many species of animals, Dr. Hill has spent time working to rehabilitate Asian elephants, macaques and gibbons in Thailand. She has also enjoyed working with seals and sea lions as a marine mammal intern at a local aquarium. Her true passion, however, lies in small animal medicine.
Dr. Hill is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Long Island Veterinary Medical Association.
In her spare time, Dr. Hill enjoys horseback riding, traveling and spending time with her family. She has a chocolate lab, Chubbs, and Zoey, a cat rescued from St. Kitts.
Our new doctors are looking forward to serving our community! Come down and bring your four-legged family members and meet our new doctors!
