The house of Legworks is home to hundreds of dancers in its new state of the art facility on Montauk highway in Shirley. Offering over 80 classes a week, Legworks has 4 large dance rooms and offers a wide variety of classes ages 2 – adult. Ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, acro/tumbling, lyrical, musical theatre, breakdancing, technique, toddler classes, creative movement, combo classes, and Zumba.
Over $10,000 in scholarships and personal donations are given by Legworks to help further the education of children and young adults in our community. We value all dancers and their families whether you attend class once or six days a week. Legworks has 11 different instructors, dance assistants in every class, closed circuit tv cameras for viewing, with convenient parking, and a warm welcome when you arrive. We pride ourselves on our curriculum that has been constructed with over 50+ years dance experience. Over the past four decades we have trained some of the most highly sought after dancers in the industry ranging from Broadway Tony award winners, Radio City Rockettes, principal dancers in companies like ABT and Paul Taylor, and tv, commercial, and video work.
Legworks is the host to dance conventions and master classes several times a year bringing in celebrity dancers for all to attend. We offer dance trophies every 3, 5, 8, 10, 13, 15 + years and honor years of dance training from other studios. Legworks gives 10% discount to active military families, a siblings discount, 10% off 2 payments in full, 15 % off one full payment, and $20 off for every family who refers a new student.
