Brooklyn by the Sea

13692722_10205747057349842_7844478294610945866_nsmmIMG_1133smMVsmMcSorley's Old Ale HousesmmScreenwriters Lance Miccio and Juan Feldman have announced that they have optioned the motion picture rights to the script Brooklyn By The Sea to J. Ross III and Rocco Gismondi of Muskrat Film Partners (DBA) who look to secure full rights in the quarter.
Talent includes: James Russo (Donnie Brasco, DeJango Unchained, and Once Upon a Time In America) Nick Chinlund (Training Day, The Prey, Con Air, Tears of The Sun) and Paul Provenza (Northern Exposure, Aristocrats). Local Long Island actor/singer Daniel Michael Crane will also appear in the film.
Brooklyn By The Sea is a contemporary mob film about a street war between Italian, Irish and Russian crime families on the Brooklyn Waterfront. The tag line reflects the theme; “There is no peace without the piece”.
The motion picture will be shot on location in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan.
Juan Feldman is slated to direct his second feature after a successful theatrical release of After Words starring Oscar winner Marcia Gay Harden.
Lance Miccio will produce his third feature film. Miccio and Feldman have been collaborating on motion picture projects since 2007. Their latest collaboration, The Prey, featuring Danny Trejo, Nick Chinlund, and Underworld creator, Kevin Grevioux, is in post-production and slated to be released this year. Lance Miccio went to school on the south shore, before transferring to Sheepshead Bay.
