CREATIVE AND FUN DATES –

Whether you are just beginning your “dance of love,” or have been coupled for years, there is always a need to keep the fun flowing when on a date! So, I’m reaching into my inventory of “best dates” with the purpose of spicing up the last month of summer!
DRIVE-IN MOVIE THEATRE –
A fun alternative to the traditional dinner-and-a-movie date! They boast huge screens, and many have updated sound systems that broadcast over your radio. Some drive-ins will show two or even three movies for one admission.
GO FISHING –
We all know the best fishing is right here on Long Island. Reserve your spot on a local charter boat or make the trek to Montauk and test your skills fishing for the “big one” in the Canyon!
COMPETITION, ANYONE –
Pick something that you both enjoy doing, or maybe something you’ve never tried before – go bowling, play pool or miniature golf, or take a swing at the batting cages. Make it more interesting by agreeing to give the winner a “special” prize!
NIGHT AT THE OPERA –
An evening at the opera is a rich experience to share. Have fun dressing up, and plan to dine at a new restaurant. Remember to acquaint yourself with the plot, this always makes the evening more enjoyable.
GO TO THE FAIR –
Besides the rides and carnival games, most fairs also offer free concerts and entertainment. You could explore your love of animals in the livestock arena or take a look at the local artwork.
TAKE A FLOAT TRIP –
Find a river that is good for floating and rent a canoe, raft, or kayak for the day. For the more experienced, take a guided whitewater rafting tour.
